Asso_man! wrote:So Gregg, since you're the only authorithy able to put a name one a car, how would you nickname this one? As a teaser and to better make up your mind, I plan to use a CRP tri-level wing and most probably alloy rims with spiky tires!
hahah thanks!!!
first thing that comes to mind is "composite function"... more will come.. if need be..
"composite effect" was the second one that came to mind

Looks great, David! I'd vote for the TA wheels. I like the pargu wheels, but they just look odd (IMO) on some vintage builds.
Have you tried the short ball studs as a possible solution to the clearance problem?
Merry Christmas to you as well!

First Class Build!! I would also vote for T&A's.
It is amazing to see how far this buggy has come from when you first picked it up.

very nice
.
i think i would go with the middle hole on the front towers. that was the position we use to use BIDT with these arms.
we need more pics of this car and more info on the wing.

Worked a bit on this one over the weekend. Finally went for T&A alloy wheels and managed to find a few missing ball caps for the front end. I still need to make up my mind about body and wing, polish front nose tubes and modify some bits and bobs. Otherwise, it is pretty much finished.
Here are some pics:

this is not the car you are looking for that was listed in the AE throwback thread. the car you are looking for was a fibrelyte prototype and is in this thread:
