Got these in a lot but don't know how they're supposed to be used. Any good to you?

Those were the optional metal nuts.

I thought I threw them out but I guess I didn't. Missing a rear though.

Are they just longer because they need to cover more axle thread?

The metal ones look like regular 8-32 hex standoffs.

Steel 8-32 nuts work fine up front...I could sure use those steel ones for the rear Phin...Sr8p I will take those also just in case I come across a single rear one...Pm me with what you all want for the goods...

the proline rc10 truck rims were kinda offset to allow the rear to become as wide as the front. because of that, the axle threads do not stick out of the rim, it's down in a "tunnel" so to speak. so you need a tall nut to reach the axle and still be able to tighten it.

i would just make sure the white ones are definitely what you need (2 long, 2 short) before you'd grab them.

Exactly what scr8p just said....The front one has a nut on it and it fits fine...The rear one you can barely see the axle and you need a long shank like you have or the correct knock offs...Thanks for the link sr8p...

I tried those tiny ones on the front and they fit flush but you would never be able to get a driver in there to tighten them up lol...I just ordered those from jsourbeck and I hope they fit...They should...I am just pissed because this was listed as a complete kit and what I paid for it man...I don't even want to talk about that  ...And then to find something missing...I was to busy stressing over how to fit the front body mount I never bothered to look to see where the knock offs was...One thing is for dang sure they are not in the box...

Yeah, I'm right here. How old are you, twelve?

You sent me a message today via ebay, and via PM here on the board and now you're calling me out in your build thread like I went out of my way to screw you over. You come across as a bit of a demanding ass, like I went out of my way to screw you over, demanding that I send you knockoffs that I surely must have stolen from the kit just ruin your day. How about waiting like a normal person for two minutes and allowing me to reply or make things right? Even though, I believe I made things right from the git.

I bought the kit exactly as you see it. I opened it, looked at the parts, put it back in the box and there it sat until I sold it to you. Everything inside, still in their unopened, sealed plastic bags. I didn't remove any parts from the kit.

Can anyone out there verify that this kit even came with knockoffs? They're not listed on the box as being included in the kit. I have an ad from a 1991 RCCA and a 1991 Tower Hobbies catalog that list every part in the kit, down to the neon decal sheet, there is no mention of knockoffs. Seems to me that knockoffs would be mentioned if something like a decal sheet and instruction manual are mentioned.
