i haven't had much time for r/c lately. but the other day i was down in the r/c dungeon trying to straighten things up. i came across an outer 6 gear hub, and since i was going to have to pin one for this replica, i figured i'd take a break from cleaning for some drilling and tapping.

I for one, would like Scr8p to slow down a little on these builds and let someone else post pictures and threads on all their builds. It's like he's a build hog or something

guess what? more progress. so soon you say? well i say that too.

got the trans and shocks built and installed. the upper mounting nuts on the shocks are supposed to be white nylon. i thought i had a package of them but nope. so i just tossed those on so the shocks don't fall off. i also need to pick up some new silver springs (i don't have any more nice ones) and get some turnbuckles (among other things).

you may notice that the shocks are the same color as my b1.5 runner chassis parts. i had sent a bunch of shock bodies and caps along with those parts to get done in the "team color". well, he was unable to do it for whatever reason so i told him to do whatever he wanted with them in the dark grey range. that's what i got. eventually i will get a correct set done and swap them out.
