I'm not an RC airplane guy, but I collect Black Magic motors and this endbell setup seems so unique. It runs well too. Dang though, it's got a big shaft!

I got this notification, and I initially thought "Cool, my RC10T is shipping!"

That actually wasn't it, but it was still something awesome. A signed poster came my way instead.

Got my eBay box-o-junk!!!
20240611_135516.jpg
Packed tight, and much heavier than I was expecting! Sadly, that seems to mostly come from a round container containing various useless batteries and other crud, but still some gems in there.

Fair bit of work left to do in cleaning, sorting, and cleaning again...... but for starters, I have this lot to check for functionality:

If the ESC or the transponder work, I've made my money back on the lot, and all the Traxxarse parts are just freebies. Either way, some work coming up!

The B4 tower is out of place. And the transponder in the pouch is out of place, someone who piles up random stuff put it back in the original package with the instructions.

That's a B4 tower, is it? I was yet to ID it, but I thought it looked familiar (was thinking HPI Blitz). As for the transponder, the instruction pouch was elsewhere in the pile.... I just put them together ;)

Unless the Blitz or something else uses a near exact copy I'd say it's for the B4.

I reckon you're correct there mate..... not very familiar with the B4 era parts.

This is why I thought it might be for the Blitz..... as I have much more experience with the Blitz:

I wonder if AE is parting out a new kit for spare parts.

No idea but they’re going to need to be making replacement parts because people are going to run the 40.

Picked up these vintage ESC and Servo lots off Ebay for $50 shipped for the two (arriving today). All untested. Hoping I scored big? Fingers crossed!
