Hello all. Brand new to the forum here and working out how things work still.
I just started building the RC10 40th here in Australia. It’s my first RC build. I’ve only just started the build but don’t want to progress further until I sort out a couple of issues. I’ve just assembled the left swing arm, caster block and steering block. The instructions show a steel nut going under the steering block but I can’t see where or how it would fit. I assembled the steering block into caster block without the nut. Now that it’s assembled the steering block fowls against the swingarm. Have I done something wrong here?
Download some of the vintage rc10 manuals. The vintage manuals had better illustrations as well as text to assist in the assembly. The new manuals assume that you already know how to assemble the car.
Well, it's been very quiet since AE announced the DS but Christmas is roughly 100 days away so I'm really hoping they have another re-re or two up their sleeves.
My gut tells me we won't see anything vintage from them in '25 -- or maybe, ever again.
Amain just added a bunch of 40th kits, shows 107 available as of this minute. Makes me wonder if there really was another batch. Curious to see any numbers that come out of this run

I do not see the Hologram stamp or any black writing in the Tub of the RE RE RE 40th Ann batch that is being advertised? what was the Highest numbers recorded on the 40th anniversary first batch?
Same part number and description, looks like it's just the stock photo they are using
Highest number iirc was 5669. Lowest number was 0046

I just have to say, it’s really a blast to the past - You can go to the Team Associated Website and buy so many of the vintage Vehicles (RC10 Anniversary, RC10 Halsey Edition, RC10 Clear Edition, RC10T Truck, RC10 Dual Sport and YZ10). What a great year for vintage RC!
Saw a YouTube video today that claimed... and had a screenshot of a graphite rc10 re release on sale on the Associated website for $419. He said it was up on the site for a little while then removed. Anyone see it? Hear about it? I'd post a cropped screenshot of my own from the video but I can't figure out how to attach a pic on here. But if this is real I just might have a Christmas present for myself.
Maybe I just figured out how to attach a pic... I guess we will see.

Looks like they make no mention of them having a number anymore, it also looks like they are sold out on AE’s site as of now. Along with the RC10T too. Don’t know if it’s been there the entire time or not but looks like they both say
“ Limited Edition “ the CC, DS, and YZ do not.
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out
Just saw a new version of the 40th available for pre-order. Green tub. Looks pretty cool. Hope they're not done with the re-releases though. Got my heart set on an rc10 graphite chassis.
Has anyone noticed the different types of coatings on the various gold re re chassis? The 40th is shiny and prone to fingerprints. The jay halsey glitters - possible powder coat. The oringinal re re was flat gold. I havent compared the black.
Hey all, I signed up to check in with #1614 with pictures of my build, questions regarding the build (especially electronics at this point) and comments and tips and thanks for the tips I've read while lurking since I started my build, pics of my og, etc... but I can't figure out how to post pictures...so anyways, cheers from #1614 with no pictures.

Yeah your good. Cell pics are insanely large files these days and the forum doesn't have an auto resizer anymore. Just gotta keep em under 3mb each.
