I made some small progress yesterday: I added white Andy's a-arms all around, front c-hubs and knuckles, and rear hub carriers are still coming from the CE spare part car. I stole the MIP tranny and motor plate from my Dual Sport which will soon receive a Stealth with HPI two-speed set-up, if only I can find a black Stealth motor plate, HINT HINT. I am now stuck as I am missing screws, bits and bobs for the shocks and a nice set of turnbuckles (Tecnacraft or early Lunsford). This is what it looks like right now:

Just received this response:
Com-Com was business in Germany run by two friend Ulrich Lein Axel Becker, Ulrich was a totally fanatical RC car builder and loved every minute detail, we started producing parts for Com-Com (including RC10 tub chassis) over 15 years ago. The RC car business got too demanding for the two original directors as they also had day jobs so ultimately they sold out to GM racing still in Germany we made a couple of orders for GM but then it all went quiet.

Hope the potted history helps.

That's a great restore job on that Fusion tub David, this will look killer which ever way you build it.

I must say that has got to be one of the nicest builds lately. I like the fact that you are using the vintage white parts on it. I like the tub too and thought about using one for my next project. The shock towers and that battery strap are a nice extra touch too.

I managed to build two rear shocks today, went with some black MIP bodies. I had to remove the ano from the shock caps and polish them to match the motor plate. I'd love to find a set of JG alloy shock collars and spring cups, one day, maybe... Now this thread is gonna sink for another 5 months, lol

Erik, the front ones are still in their 20 years old bag trying to breathe as much vintage air as possible before I release them to a more fresh one.

So Gregg, since you're the only authorithy able to put a name one a car, how would you nickname this one? As a teaser and to better make up your mind, I plan to use a CRP tri-level wing and most probably alloy rims with spiky tires!

Geez Ed, I already told you not to reveal our relationship in public! Fortunately there's only the two of us reading here, but be careful, please!
