Exactly. It's choice that you would have and will most likely be able to find at your LHS. I welcome anything they bring to market as my re-re is currently a shelfer but will become a runner once hop-ups come to market.

Lets just hope this car that was discontinued in less then a month will have enough market presence that companies will find it worth while to actually release the hopups they were designing... After all the numbers that were made were a drop in the bucket to what was already out there.

There's an ass for every seat!

If JC and Proline can make money making one, then I'm sure they will.

I'm anxious to see the body but I'm not getting my hopes up. After producing cab forwards bodies for so long I think the RC companies are too far removed from the subject to know what a classic body should look like. :|

Just an observation I made while watching some YouTube. If you watch any of the YouTube videos from the JConcepts Garage channel you can see a few classic RC's as well as boxes on display. On the left side of the shop you can see an RC10 Champ edition at the top then a black tub that looks like a B2/B3 and a gold pan on the bottom. I'm sure he has an example of every car he has driven. I know I would have that collection if I worked in the industry.

Actually Joey, I built 3 for Ruona. One gold pan, one black pan CE and I rebuilt his black pan worlds car that he used to race. He also has a few others he bought off eBay. Jason is very much in touch with the vintage vibe and I can assure the skeptics that the body is NOT cab forward and does NOT look like a modern body. When it's revealed you will see styling from several of the classic bodies from the past. Lastly, the discontinuing of the car so soon is concerning to me as well, but I know Jason is just as excited about the vintage stuff as we are so there will definitely be parts coming. There will even be a racing class specifically for the classic. I've talked with Jason nearly every day about rules and stuff. Good things are coming from the sunshine state.....

Let me throw this out there too.....
The 2014 off road nationals are at our home track. With Ruona, Ruffy and me racing there regularly and loving the vintage cars, perhaps we can convince the track owner to offer a vintage class as a promotional class. You never know.....

Damn these are the times when I wish I lived in Florida. JConcepts is just so involved in local racing with being part of so many racing series. It so freakin cool.

I was hoping with AE here local to me, more guys would jump on the Vintage wagon and we could get a class together. I know a few locals to me (at the outdoor track) have cars, some ready, some almost ready. I know I have a classic and one other classis, and at least 3 originals. Just have to get us all at the track at the same time :)

I agree. I would like to see a vintage class get started as well at my local track in Huntington Beach. I am updating my 10T to run in the 17.5 class, but would like to run my re-re with other cars of that era.
