I would have been all over it if the driver wasn't painted all black. Nicely done on the gold lines! Are the JPS logos painted or stickered?

ya i didnt want the driver to take away from the car .. eveything is paint that you see in black or gold

So the driver is actually painted, can't see much details in your rather foggy pic :mrgreen:

JPS ultima with HPI rims is just plain cool in my books . Thanks for the inspiration , I'm going to finish mine now. Looking forward to updates so keep them coming .

I purchased some gold prism tape for the rooftop . Silver looked out of place .

They are in fact JC Racing ones for Yokomo mounted with specific Yok adapters.
I am always stuck when it comes to painting. It's just so time consuming. And I agree a gold roof is a must I'm even thinking of anodising mine.
Good luck with yours and if you need parts I have plenty of left overs.

Looks great, nice job throughout. The only thing I'd agree with is to consider anodizing the roof plate gold. Be sure to polish it first, though. The devil's in the details! :twisted: And make sure it's a champagne gold like the Kyosho Gold shocks, not orange-gold like RC10 pans.

At my local anodizer, gold is more of a carburetor color, and champagne, while I haven't tried it yet, the samples look perfect for this.
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas
