Yes it originally came out of a T4.1 I had. It has bashing sessions on it and a lot of racing use and no issues. The ESC has some throttle profile adjustments and all the usual adjustments and I find it easy to navigate through the programming.

If you pay attention on the BAY you can get the combo for $75, for a name brand ESC and motor I think its a good deal. If only it said Losi on it.

A well placed sticker can fix that...Losi does sell brushless systems, Xcelrion (probably spelled wrong), I have had a few of the motors, my son uses a 17.5 Losi motor in his T4!

As a side, I installed the kit for a XX A-3111 dual disc slipper, fit right onto my single slipper shaft so now spurs are a piece of cake.

This is nice (XX A-3111 dual disc slipper) , this is exactly what i need for my pro,is this still available?does the assebmbly includes the top shaft?
Any links will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jun.

Glad to see another 5 link runner. Watch for rear shock ends and buy them of you come across new ones. The original shocks would leak and if a car was stored for years the oil would leak out onto the shock end and rot them.

You should replace the steering rack with the aluminum bellcranks you got with the other non-losi parts. To do this you will need to drill a third hole on the left that is symmetrical to the one on the right. It will work just as good and won't fail like the rack bar is prone to.

Good idea on the steering, and yes whenever I come across lower rear shock mounts I get them. I have a good stock for the moment.

A bit late on this one, yes I am running the AE ESC as well with no issues. Easy to program as well.

Could you tell me what axles you used and maybe the part numbers, I see you are using the custom works spacers? What size links are you using to do the turnbuckles and the links on the suspension? i also am building a racer X2 but its the original not the Pro.

Thanks

Turnbuckle lengths are posted at beginning of thread for all of them. THe axles are stock JRX2 axles.

You mentioned that you used the XX A-3111 dual disc slipper. What input shaft are you using with it? The stock one is way too short. I'd like to get my JRX-2 converted over to a slipper system so anything you can tell me would be helpful.

What rpm parts did you use for the rear 5 link setup? I have the H-arms but would really like to go back to the old system if possible. It is extremely difficult to find any 5 link parts anymore so I have no idea how I'm going to accomplish it without buying a complete car somewhere as that's the only place I ever see them. As long as it's going to be a challenge to find the parts anyways, I may as well search for the rpm parts.

Fred, the Pro SE & LXT had the slipper shaft you need. Assuming you are using the LRM tranny, search for the stock Losi slipper shaft and you are good to go. You can use the slipper parts from the current (former) XXX buggy also.

fredswain,

you can use a hrdyra drive shaft (forgot the part number) and use a B4 back plate similar to the one below.

Cool. Thanks for the help. Now I know what to look for. Any ideas on where to find 5 link parts, especially the rear hubs??? If I had those pieces I could build the rest.

ebay and the buy-sell-trade section here are the only real sources. 5-link parts come up all the time you just have to be patient.
I have had good luck building a parts stash for runners by buying complete cars that have a bunch of spares with them.
If you are going to run once it is built, might as well buy a cheap spare care for parts, will save a lot of $ over buying individual NIP parts.

Some just showed up buy it now so now I've got them. I bought a JRX-pro parts car for $30 last week as it was cheaper to get it for the parts that I needed rather than look for them individually. It has the H arms though. The car currently has the RPM rear arms on it but I don't like them. At least I'll be able to compare both original systems now.
