I went on Amains site and saw that my back order was ready for payment.. (The site doesn't let you pay until item is in) I tried to apply a coupon and it would not let me, so I called the cust serv and the guy finalised it on the phone. He said it would ship out today even though the site said in stock on Monday.

Funny how the Japanese stores don't have their stock yet, would've definitely thought that Kyosho would service their domestic market first. Oh well, I've got 2 pre-ordered from Banzai, cant wait

They provide thread lock, but only specify to use it on two screws. Like I said, we'll see. I'll go back and thread lock as needed. As a kit goes, it's very simple and everything is in easy reach for wrenching.[/quote]
Received mine today and completed the build. Having an issue with the rear suspension arms binding. Compared to my original and it seems to me that the dog bones are a little too long.
Manual has a warning showing the dog bone should be more towards axle. Tried that, no success.
Only solution seems to be to reduce the angle the arms mounts.
Any suggestions?

Re: Kyosho now on the re-re bandwagon - Scorpion
Here are some picts. I recently scored a LeMans 240 motor.. Same exact motor I had in my original yellow tub cox scorpion.
The story behind how I acquired the motor led to my being ground by my parents. I saw the motor in towerhobbies catalog and kept bugging my father to order it. He kept ignoring me. So I called Tower and ordered it using his credit card and then went to him and said, here is the money. I'm sure you all can imagine his reaction
I'm a little undecided about what colour to paint the body. I always felt the all yellow was very dull. My original was red and yellow, which matches ok. Black will make it look like a bee. I'm settling on PS-30 brilliant blue.. What do you guys think?
For the ESC I put in a TEU-104BK that came with FAV. I plan on buying a the TBLE-02S, since it allows you to go back and forth between brushed and brushless motors without changing out the ESC
