I'd go with the parma VW bug body, or an E-Zilla bug, or mr'lexans bolink bug ;)

They all have kind of short wheelbases which should make it look better with those huge tires you got on it

Thanks guys. There are 3 shops within a short distance from here. I'll just look around and see what makes a nice fit. It may end up a Bug. :D

In the near future, the Proline Bug will be available.... the one with the large wing molded into the roof (one of my favs BITD).

I did a little testing and regular bodies just aren't gonna look right. There is too large of a gap between the chassis and the bottom edge of the body. Looks kinda stupid. Oh well, thanks for the input anyway. I'll update when I get a hi-speed video. the gearing will have to be crazy, but I have a solid 250yd clear piece of smooth asphalt here at work. Heat will be an issue the way I plan on gearing it, but I can make a couple of safe passes I think. After that I'm switching to a Feigao 3900kv or so motor and will go back to these big tires for some monster truck action. Or I could just take out a second mortgage on my house and get a Savage Flux.

I really like the GT conversion.

Here's a "gimped" version from one of your pictures. That is how I would setup a GT ´conversion
Changes:

- at least one longer nose brace tube with tube mount moved to the back
- reversed servo saver horn
- a standing servo, probably much further back than shown since there's so much weight up front anyway
- and of course the battery positioned as shown

I actually did not bid on a complete (rtr) GT today that sold for €58 just because I already have enough projects going on the as it is. ... come to think of it that was really stupid of me, I probably could have sold the radio, engine etc. for close to that price, oh well.

hope you like my suggestions.

any up date on the body? I really like the bug idea, should be out by now too. I was just about to create a thread to ask if anyone put a bug body on a 10T till i read through this.

No, a few others seemed to work their way in front of the bug. Work is kicking my butt at the moment and will continue to do so for the next 30 days or so (I can't wait for it to be over already.... give an inch, take a mile :x )
