Damn straight, at least the 150's don't have the ball joint and pitman arm issues that the 250/350's have.
I take it you had problems with yours? 250,000 miles still on the original ball joints on mine. Its still as tight as the day I bought it.
My 350 is 2wd so I haven't had anything other than the steering stabilizer and pitman arm replaced at 189,000- we have 3 Fords in our fleet and they have all been super reliable, our V10 sounds neat, but makes way less power than the 7.3 diesel did when it was still stock

Almost all of the 96-99 SHO's had a cam gear failure that Ford never acknowledged and should've been a recall. Kind of a one off motor I realize, but was never acknowledged as a failure even after a class action lawsuit. I'm sure the other big 2 would probably do the same. Lesson learned not to get a one off model car.

Sounds like you got a good deal on a zero mileage motor Rhino.
Thats nice to know we bought a 2011 SHO 6 months ago I hope we dont run into anything like that. Ya I got a pretty good deal on the engine it came from Jasper Engines I have some family that work their.
You will be fine with the new SHO... The old SHO's engine was made by Yamaha and was a POS from the get go, Almost every single "First test" done on the car basically said "DO NOT BUY THIS CAR, THE ENGINE IS A POS"... The new one is all ford and IS the sh*t!

I have an 06 Mustang GT, 06 Expedition and an 11 F-250... And even though they continued with the pitman arms, I was happy to buy the new 6.7 liter... I traded in my 07 F-150 that didn't quite have enough to pull my boat but was a great truck as well!

I got this stuff today called Blue Devil. Its a head and head gasket sealer. I put it in and let it run for 45 minutes and now it runs great!

Yes this is what this stuff is made for. Its temporary of course I used it to get it running well enough to get down to my families farm. So I could put it in the barn so I had enough room to pull the engine. My next option was for my dad to come get it and haul it on his trailer and pull it with his GM which aint happenen his chevy aint haulin my ford! Well maybe in the cloak of darkness
