Thanks ED
However
The front tyres looks like 2,2"-3,0" and I want true 2,2" tyres

I got the tyres today ..and narrowed the front tyres, something I have never done before
I have to build something special to make a lexan body,
or perhaps I'll make a fibreglass body

I might build a vacuum form to make the body, or just zip-tie lexan panels on

Yeah, I agree with you, you need to add something. It looks like a skeleton, like something is missing.

The realistic, scale tuber look doesn't look right without some body panels and a driver figure.

I think lexan panels would look awesome on it! Great job!

I've narrowed wheels, but have never done tires.
What did you use to narrow the tires? ..(scissors, type of glue?)
Any problems since?

Thanks guys
I have seen it done before, but never had the nerve to cut a new set of tyres
I used scissors and CA glue, no issues, so far
the easiest would be lexan panels
However
I have seen lots of videos about vacuum forming and the machine looks simple enough for me to build
Why do I always choose the most difficult solutions

it looks simple enough that you can just buy a sheet of lexan and bend a three sided body(minus the roof) and it would fit pretty good and look pretty authentic. Then a small panel for the roof would finish it off.
nice build. would you call it 1/10 scale or more like 1/9 scale?

I might just do that
It's closer to 8th scale
I got a 178mm (7") tall, true 1/10th scale actionmann
and it looks perfect next to my 10th scale cars, but really tiny standing next to this buggy

Nice action vid! It was a bit dark, but that 3000 kV unit makes me excited for the 3200 kV motor I've got coming for my Barney beast.
