I think this design will be perfect for a monster truck/Monster Beetle inspired build.
Rough cut/body mock up:
Thanks, but those are too small for those vintage bodies; they're only meant to fit HPI's bodies and require special matching tires. What I would need are wheels that are 2 - 2.2" diameter, and about 35 to 37mm wide.

Coelacanth wrote:Thanks Diggley, but you linked the exact same wheels that 8rad did. Those wheels and tires only work with the tiny wheel-wells of the HPI Vintage Series bodies. I would need something with a much bigger diameter to work with an old Parma '69 Charger body, which has much larger wheel-wells. I need tires with a diameter of 80 - 90mm diameter approximately, to fit wheels with 2 - 2.2" diameter. HPI's 5-Star wheels are almost perfect size and I already have a set of 4 setup for that body, but I prefer the wheel design of those monster-truck wheels. They're just way too wide.
Thank you! Well, I'll simply plan to mount the Parma Charger body on the CYANide chassis with bigger HPI 5-Star wheels and CustomWorks on-road tires. I want to paint the body kind of how I want to eventually paint the 1:1 Charger--though the Parma's a '69 and the 1:1 is a '70. The front end is quite different between the two.Diggley wrote:I can't wait to see the Charger project, 'Cyanide is still one of my favorites!
