Jammin Jay is one of the best guys out there. I have had the privilege of talking to him a few times. He is a great person in our hobby, and for a FOG (Fat Old Guy) he is still fast!

Good point. I guess I'll cancel the photo shoot I set up for tomorrow with my RC10 and my 1980 T-Ball participation trophy. Seriously though, that's an awesome memento. 8)

that 2nd pic is actually pretty cool since it's similar to the associated ad with his car and the trophy (see ruffy's avatar). just needed to roll the car to the left a bit. 8)

That's amazing that Jay signed your car.
What was his response to the detail you put into the car?
Did he notice anything missed or done differently?
Is Jay part of the forum?
If no, do you think he might be brave enough for....... "If you Could Ask Jay Halsey..."

Awesome job Jason.

Now its off to find Masami in Japan to sign your repro of his car.

well...... that one's kind of a sore subject. :(

as for jay, he seemed pretty excited to sign car for me. after i shipped the car, i gave him a call to let him know it was on the way. we talk for a half hour or so. he seems like a real nice, down to earth guy.

other than letting me know he thought it was real nice, he hasn't said anything about what's right or what's wrong. the couple things i did ask him about it he really wasn't sure about himself. and really........ it has been 25 years.

i did tell him about the forum, and i'd be willing to bet ruffy has. but as of now, i don't believe he's a member.
