extreemduster340,
that is a nice looking a-main GT. I hope you are able to get it back.

I have found some parts for the conversion and would like to thank those who have helped in doing so. I am still looking for more parts or a complete kit.
this will be an ongoing search until this truck is on my shelf. 8)

if ii can win the trucks, i might end up with 3 a-main conversions and one rc10gt with the a-main chassis. finding this sight has been the best thing for searching for anything vintage.

now if only the was a gas vintage nationals, i would be set 8)

what makes you say that there will not be a gas class at the vintage nats. i did notice that the cut off year is ''94''. there where alot of gas trucks then. the first rc10 gt was released a year or two before the cut off. I also did not see an electric only statement. I do know that if there are enough people that would run a class, then most race directors will add it. that is how most of the classes that roar has today came about. 8)

i'm just speculating here....

the vintage nationals won't have a gas class because of running indoors. most places don't race nitro indoors because they don't have the proper ventilation to get the fumes out.

that may be true. i do know that every in-door track in Ohio runs a gas class, 1/8, truggy, 1/10 truck, monster truck, and any other class that there are enough drivers to have a class. the tracks do run them at a different time then the electric. the fumes can get thick, but that depends on the number of entries, and the way the building is aired out. I hope i am not stepping on anybody's feet with this reply. 8)

oh, i'm sure there are a bunch of places that run indoor nitro, but it doesn't mean that they should.... for health reasons.

last year was the first year i ran the winter mid-west at crcrc in columbus. it was hard to breath and a lot of people where wearing gas masks. you would have thought there was a nuclear fall out somewhere. for the next two weeks, I was still coughing and hacking. it was a lot of fun and i will be doing it again this year................ with a gas mask of course. 8)

yes i did win it. got it for 99.99 plus shipping. one complete truck and one truck that needs some parts. I think they are just rc10t parts so they should be easy to find.
with this auction and the other trucks that i have bought already, i will have 3 a-main rc10t conversions and one rc10gt with the a-main chassis.
thank you again. 8)

Hey dell,
Those were lookin pretty good to me too. Had them on my watchlist but came across a couple other deals that left me without the cashflow to take 'em. Good lot there. Let us know how everything looks when you get 'em.
