FYI, the Duratrax wheels do work. I have tried them. Just make sure they are the Evader Nitro BX wheels, they share the same bearing size and fitting as the B2 B3. So as long as you're running B2 rear axles, you should be good.

Re: Substitute for B2/B3 rear wheels
So I opened a pack of wheels last night, and the regular Electric rims DO NOT FIT, the offset appears to be similar to that of the B4. (no worries for me, i will use them on my B4.
I'll look to get a pair of the Nitro BX rims and try them.

Yeah its definitely just the nitro bx versions that work. You can tell if you look at the nitro rim pictures at Tower which curves in similar to the B2 B3 rims, while the electric ones are flat similar to the B4 rims.

Good suggestion on the HPI wheels and adapters !!! I picked up some myself. Nowadays, HPI no longer supplies the instructions with the adapters. In case anyone needs to figure out what all the other HPI 6120 adapters are for, I found the instructions at the bottom of my pit box. Here you go:Asso_man! wrote:Hey Michael, no Sebastian, 2.2" HPI wheels and rear plastic hex adapters are still available from Tower , I ordered several sets last month and they work perfectly! Cheap and easy!

Re: Substitute for B2/B3 rear wheels
atlas confirmed in his thread in the readers rc10 section that the duratrax evader bx front rims use 3/16 x 3/8 plain bearings. i just thought i'd mention it in case someone missed it.

What's the front axle and hub carrier part number from Tower to use with the B2/B3 wheels?

Re: Substitute for B2/B3 rear wheels
you don't need to change anything on the front of your old rc10 to use b2/b3 wheels.
Re: Substitute for B2/B3 rear wheels
How are you getting these to fit on the front, I see how they work on the rear but not the front.Asso_man! wrote:Hey Michael, no Sebastian, 2.2" HPI wheels and rear plastic hex adapters are still available from Tower , I ordered several sets last month and they work perfectly! Cheap and easy!

Re: Substitute for B2/B3 rear wheels
those hpi wheels don't get used on the front. only on the rear.

Then the only option is the B4 wheels for the front? Isn't there anything that matches anymore for the RC10? Aside from the old tires and wheels.

Re: Substitute for B2/B3 rear wheels
I tried fit the rims on the CVDs i have, and they appear a tad small. I think a simple pass of the 3/16 drillbit should take care of it.
