Re: 2025 - Masami joins AE product development
I think two versions are good. One is super collectible that captures the original and all its details. Add serial number engraved, signature, memorabilia in the box, manual. Painted body. This could be the ONE time AE does a luxury/authentic version kit, the audience is different for this model anyhow.
Then, release a "lite" Masami affordable version (he has all the experience at G Force afterall) that captures the spirit of the original but with all the durability, one piece parts, new materials and design thinking of today. In conclusion, I hope they get it right for fans from this forum.

Do they go "Thunder Tiger" and just make a tribute car, widely available, regular pricing; or do they do a small run of true re-creations and charge a mint. Maybe both.stickboy007 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 10:59 am Much as I respect Masami, I have to wonder what's really going on here.
A bit of a hot take, and with all due respect to Masami (and Masaaki), if AE (and I fully believe Thunder Tiger Corp. is behind the 're-re' push, not AE) they are simply the marketing vehicle if and when they choose to do an '89 and/or '91 Stealth re-release.
Don't get me wrong, I am nostalgic sucker extrordinaire and will buy anything and everything, but just calling it like I see it. Same deal with the 'Jay Halsey' release, respect to Jay (and Jim)...
Here's to hoping...

I hope Thunder Tiger doesn't miss the opportunity to link to their heritage too.

Maybe a "Limited Edition" 40th anniversary cross over vehicle. RTR, of course
