Ah, of course! I'd bet someone used the wrong grease. Ball diff's require a special "grease" which is actually not an ordinary lubricant. I think maybe this happens often.
Anyway, it's good to learn that you've gotten the problem sorted out.

Long time lurker, first time posting. Anyway here's my ride. It started off as a completely red dyed car. Been slowly converting it to a more traditional looking one. Not sure if I got the pics correctly posted, but here we go. Pc110009.jpg rc10.jpg

I think that color combo on the car really sets it off. If you have the time, I'd say go for it.

So far I've put about 3 hours in de-anodizing and another 4-5 in sanding because of the deep...

our '04 stratus was starting to nickle and dime us, and the trans was a few miles away from needing a rebuild. so, we figured it was time to unload it while it could still get to the dealership under it's own power. :lol:

Good points about the auto-stick...does an auto-stick EXIST that really lets you shift in a performance manner like a standard? The computer overrides anything you'd want it to do that's outside of what it considers safe . :? My Torrent has that too...
