The stock clutch bell is plastic, and not availavle! The inside is good but the brake part is broken, so i made this mold, put jb weld in, then sanded to original shape and size, barely tell it was broken
Here i made a much better brake arm out of a servo horn, stock one is horrible

Yeah, for a Kyosho I expected a lot more metal and less plastic underneath. I was never very familiar with this particular model though. Coming together nicely!

Got to change shocks springs, way too soft. Not that anyone gives a S#*t. I thought at least Benji, aka..."thumbs" "Ken" would have dug it, oh well

Just because it doesn't get alot of attention doesn't mean it doesn't get alot of attention
I've got an interest in this but can only come across as having no clue
ANyway, check your view count...that tells a different story usually

I've been checking in on this thread daily. It's giving me some serious nostalgia!
When I was 14, my Dad decided to get an RC so he could play around with me an my brother (I had a Raider, Boomerang, and RC10 CE at the time... bro had a Blackfoot and RC10 Team Car). I had been drooling over nitro, and really wanted an Outlaw Rampage. Anyway, my Dad had been looking at nitro stuff with me and when he decided to pull the trigger on his own RC, he decided on the Nitro Brute. I tried to talk him into the Outlaw Rampage instead, but he wanted a monster truck.
I had a love/hate relationship with that truck. He didn't know much about RC, so it was up to me to keep it going for him. It was a PIA to start without a priming bulb, and it had serious understeer. It took me an entire afternoon to disassemble and reassemble when we got him a bearing kit for it.
But, it grew on me! I wish he still had it. I'd love to restore it and put it on the shelf just for the memories!!!
I'm living through yours.
