one thing I can tell you - you're not alone with such projects and cases of rotten tires :lol:

I spent about 1.5hrs yesterday just cleaning up the top of my workbench... just the top :lol:

And sometimes there's a diamon in the rough in all this stuff :mrgreen:

I found the box with my Futaba radio system for the Kyosho GP10. Thankfully, there were no AA batteries in the TX to corrode. Being in Japan, we were required to use a FM system. On a military base there were occasional instances of interference, causing runaways. Once, I lost control, car went to wide open throttle and into the curbing. Nothing broke but did burn out a clutch before I could get to it!

Note: Futaba made in Japan on the labels!
