I don't even think I could restore correctly, and I don't have the drive to do it.
I did however get curious enough to want to drive it. So I slapped it together in a minimalist sort of way.

I would love to do a resto on it.

What I meant was, it would be lest resto, and more replace. It's pretty beat and the chassis is Swiss cheese.

Plus, some of the parts are already in use.

Well, how DID it drive?

Not so good. One of the rear hubs is pretty loose and made for bad geometry.

The new setup seems decent so far.

I still have my Cadillac, the B3, and a LTR22. This is just a collaboration of parts that I had handy. I thought about throwing some buggy wheels on it. I'm not sure how well that works with the long arms.

It works REALLY well. I have two RC10T's that have buggy wheels and body. The long suspension really soaks up the bumps.

I wouldn't turn emulsion shocks upside down in onroad. The piston will sit in too much air.

With as limited in travel as those shocks are I do not think that will be a problem, the pistons will ride right near the top of the shock body the whole time which upside down will be at the bottom and full of oil due to gravity.

you actually are very correct - I was thinking short shock shafts, but if these are long... but you're still increasing unsprung mass

Then again, given the rest of the car...

seeing as his front shocks are.. well.. turnbuckles. I think it is all at least partially or mostly unsprung mass! lol
