Old "on road" car w/ graphite chassis.

Sometimes you pick things up and you just aren't sure why. Yeah.

I will say this. The thing weighs about as much as a paper airplane and it has some cool factor with th rigid suspension.

I'm probably just going to use it for parts.

I bought this because it had STEALTH TRANSMISSION in the title of the ad. The seller apparently meant that it HAD a stealth.

Anyway, the chassis looks much worse than i expected, and most of the parts are beat or modified.

Hi,

I love it!

I really love old race cars.

Looks like a perfect candidate for something like this,

I saw this one. Hard pass!

I liked the part about the stealth transmission in the title too. Misleading in my opinion.

Yeah, I should have investigated further as that was really what I bid for.

Tried to clean up the chassis to see if it is usable.

I don't know what the hard amber substance is plugging up the holes.

I've gotten several that were plugged with hot glue. Could be epoxy. I hope not.

I was able to remove it with a razorblade. I'm guessing I can drill it out of the holes.

Oddly enough, I was going to suggest filling in all the unwanted holes with epoxy fiberglass resin. It is a similar substance to what holds the CF together, and may help stiffen the chassis.

Yeah, I can't leave it alone. I'm looking for shocks and tires for it, to build a mid motor buggy.

I was thinking rubber buggy tires and shocks. I don't have anywhere I could use foams.

Hi,

Sorry about that, since it is such a time capsule,

I thought you were going to restore it.

Cheers, Dave. :)
