Re: RC10 B1.5
what do you guys think, white or black parts? i'm leaning white for this one.
i plan on designing and having a new rear bulkhead made, so i can have that done in white. only thing left would be the trans case. there's no reason to have one of those made, so i guess i could paint the case an off white. i don't know..... we'll see how it goes. i'll probably change my mind 20 times before i actually start bolting parts to it.

Re: RC10 B1.5
I know ya got lots of time to decide, but make it a plus 1 for white for me. I just feel like everything is black lately. The exception is the classic car. I think white and purple has been done less too.

Re: RC10 B1.5
white parts except trans and front arm mounts. this will kind of 'center' the black in the chassis, and will tie in with the black of the tires. Maybe black nose tubes also. Towers will be made of what?

Re: RC10 B1.5
The purple chassis goes well with both, I did an all white truck and a white buggy with black arms and they both were a good contrast with the purple. I mocked up an all black one and didn't like it

Re: RC10 B1.5
ditto...I like a murdered look and I think it would go with the purple but I think the white will make the chassis pop more...as Jeff would sayjwscab wrote:white parts except trans and front arm mounts. this will kind of 'center' the black in the chassis, and will tie in with the black of the tires.

ain't that the truth.klavy69 wrote:I also liked this commentvintage AE wrote:I know ya got lots of time to decide

i think all of my builds are going to take somewhat of a back seat this year because i'm determined to be driving my 55 chevy by the end of summer. i only have so much money to play with so i need to focus on that. but of course, if good deals come up on parts i need, i won't ignore them. the chassis parts are at least ready to go for this so i can bolt on parts as they roll in.

Re: RC10 B1.5
Big Fan of this type build. Seems to be a great platform. Very creative / functional wing mounting BTW.
