my local guitar center has the one in the pic i posted for $600. so, i'll .......... i mean santa :wink: ......... will be getting it over there. it's $30 more at musicians friend. that kind of surprised me. usually, it's the other way around.

I got my christmas wish yesterday, picked up my Baja 5bSS. Under the tree will likely be a gold edition lunchbox.

Wow, everyone sounds like they are getting very cool gifts.

My girlfriend is keeping her gifts for me a secret even though I said I am not one for surprises. It's my Birthday over the festive period too so I hope to get a few things for my bmx I need :lol:

That place is right down the street from me( muscians friend) I went there and they only had the Ibamez pack for 290.00 OUCH!!

Well I got him the bike. I'll get the guitar for his birthday :lol: I seriously hope I remember how to put brakes together... It's been a long time. I was too cheap to pay the assembly fee. :roll: I just want to say its a darn good thing I can do these things since his dad ain't around.

from what i can remember, the last time i bought my kid a bike, the brakes were already mounted to the chassis, and the brake handles were attached the the handle bars. all i had to do was bolt the handlebars to the neck. and adjust them, of course. :wink:

i'm sure each manufacturer packages their stuff differently, though.................

I hope that BMX is not going on the road.Bikes with no brakes KILL people and that's not very cool at all is it.Its illegal and just plain stupid.

I used to use my foot up against the rear wheel and frame. Those were my brakes after my hand brakes went out. Musta rode all over like that for years.

I used to ride my bike with the foot to frame brake not because of no brakes, it was because they would never work that good no matter how much I adjusted them. (crappy dia compe :x )

Well mine is a little out of reach but I think Santa would have a great time delivering it to me so i'll give it a shot once again this year...
