Re: What's your Christmas wish?
from what i can remember, the last time i bought my kid a bike, the brakes were already mounted to the chassis, and the brake handles were attached the the handle bars. all i had to do was bolt the handlebars to the neck. and adjust them, of course.
i'm sure each manufacturer packages their stuff differently, though.................

I hope that BMX is not going on the road.Bikes with no brakes KILL people and that's not very cool at all is it.Its illegal and just plain stupid.
Re: What's your Christmas wish?
I used to use my foot up against the rear wheel and frame. Those were my brakes after my hand brakes went out. Musta rode all over like that for years.Moggie XL wrote:I hope that BMX is not going on the road.Bikes with no brakes KILL people and that's not very cool at all is it.Its illegal and just plain stupid.
Re: What's your Christmas wish?
I used to ride my bike with the foot to frame brake not because of no brakes, it was because they would never work that good no matter how much I adjusted them. (crappy dia compe
