Shodog, what you need to complete that beauty is some gold-anodized wheel nuts. I used those on my Gold Celebration Optima with polished Sees wheels, seeing the gold nuts reflecting in the polished aluminum is the bee's knees.

The problem is that I need special nuts.


I haven't been able to find gold nuts in 8/32". The ones I'm using are Tecnacraft 8/32 nuts in the front and factory team 8/32 in the rear.

I think the urban dictionary indicated that it's "washing a dog in the shower" when you put your Tecnacraft 8/32 nuts in her front?

The Tecnacraft front axles use a 8/32 nut. The nut came from a Tecnacraft pan car aluminum screw kit

You could always paint YOUR nuts Gomachv !!!!! But i would think airbrushing them would kinda tickle!!!!!

I have my cars on shelves and you're right they have been getting dusty. Lately I have been recleaning vehicles up. Once they are all clean and polished up, I bag them up in clear plastic and put in a bag of dessicant to absorb moisture.

This thread almost makes me want to go unearth my aluminum wheel collection. Before moving I wrapped each one up individually in newspaper and tape, and put them in a box which I also sealed. That was over a year ago and they're still like that.

These wheels look fantastic - even on the Ultima
