Yea unless you do a couple chassis or more it's not cost effective. You could just buy the black chassis and nose plate then turn around and sell your gold parts. Offset the cost a bit. I'm on the fence myself but thinking of having my runner chassis redone along with my re-re so I might just strip and polish then send to be anode

HI!... Wow didn't realize that anodizing was that expensive. I have my own glass beading cabinet. I just glass bead the chassis/nose-plate/motor mount. Bring it to my powder coating guy and he charges me $12 for black.

I didn't realize that they made re re black parts. I will have to check that out. I really just need a black motor plate but can't seem to find one anywhere

Gomachv, you planning on anymore purple anytime soon? I remember you posted something about a group deal is cheaper. I think I need to do a 90s theme. Like the purple or a hot pink. Lol

Keep me posted as well. I'm gonna continue to look for the black re re motor plate as that's all I really need. They look like they are due out soon
