IIRC that was a common problem on the SST transmission. Maybe Dennis can provide insight into successful use of that tranny. Sourcing the gears may be a challenge anyway though....Good Luck. :D

Thanks for posting the video! 8) I have been searching for parts and have not seen much at all. I'm going to shelve them for now and see if anything pops up over time.

They list the sst-33 in stock. That is the set you need right? Should be 33 for nitro and 005 for electric. I have never dealt with them just happened to have them bookmarked for another item

yeah, i took a look on fleabay and found 14 parts total for "kyosho quad"....then realized I will never have one. That would be one very long build thread with no parts available.

Long build is right! I will just have to be on the look out for now. Most of it is there but I need to find the motor plate for the electric version.
