I don't remember exactly because I also got a raw stock sheet so I can cut shock towers if I want to. It was in the ball park of $80, maybe a hair more or less.shodog wrote:How much did it cost you?

Just ca glued nylon screws into the old holes of the tranny, cut them off, then filed down the trans case. Wasn't about to touch those arm mounts in that area. That's a recipe for disaster.jwscab wrote:so did you trim the trans or the rear arm mounts(or both) to get them to fit together?
Looks cool

Yes. Shallow ones. Any more than like 3/16 to 1/4" and you are into the diff gear.jwscab wrote:OK, I gotcha, so then you drilled new holes in the trans case. Very nice.

Re: Oreo Cookie OIN, Composite Craft I heart (early) 90s Tri
i like this build great job..i was thinking about buying a chassis to make a truck so i have some ?s about the chassis.. it looks like the front you just need stock 10t bulkhead and a little mod for the upper deck right? the rear of this chassis scares me. the rear end of this chassis looks like its built for all mod parts. is there a list of parts you need to make this chassis work? do some stock ae parts work(t2?) do you need rpm arm mounts?Y'ernat Al wrote:Yep. Kim at CC will do it for you. They are (mis-advertised) as 10T chassis' in the Composite Craft facebook page. You just call them and order one up. They one-off them too, because I asked if I could have one without the steering servo saver notch and he said no problem at all.shodog wrote:That carbon weave is sweet, did they just cut that for you?
the (mis-advertised) 10T chassis is not really what i want, do they make this chassis that works with stock rc10t or t2 parts?

The RPM rear arm mounts are needed, unless you get REALLY creative with something else and a drill press, file, ans some luck/skill. It's easier to look around for a set of mounts than something else (I've tried).longboardnj wrote: i like this build great job..i was thinking about buying a chassis to make a truck so i have some ?s about the chassis.. it looks like the front you just need stock 10t bulkhead and a little mod for the upper deck right? the rear of this chassis scares me. the rear end of this chassis looks like its built for all mod parts. is there a list of parts you need to make this chassis work? do some stock ae parts work(t2?) do you need rpm arm mounts?

As I understand it, the Worlds Buggy ("10T") one is the only one they advertise. My hunch is that it was a pilot project and they have it CADD'd up for the CNC. There are other posts around that allude to other chassis versions being asked about. I really don't know but I doubt he has the CNC/demand to knock out other versions at will, but everything has its price I would think.

Sorry if I missed something, but is CC actually selling that chassis again, or do you just have a hookup?
