Funny, I was thining about the 2nd house my folks bought, and my sister is living in it now. its 2 acres, with a good sized front pasture thats not in use. course, its getting to be the wet season here (Oregon) but I had this strange desire to borrow the neighbors kabota tractor w/ a bucket and do a little "excavation" and make a track.

Not sure the folks would like it, but i could also make it available to neighborhood kids to ride their bikes on! (too much liability though)

My Apt. IS only a few short blocks from the local indoor offroad track. The sisters house is 40 min away. Tough choice!

I think a backyard track is cool. Use what you have. I've seen several people who have incorporated natural settings and plants into their course. I think RCCA's forum has a track section.

Go to either of the Burns choices. If you go to the 2007, and scroll through to about file 30, we got some nice aerials.
