Back yard track

Post by RC Chick »

So my back yard is all sand and large rock and I got tired of trying to drive through it so Today I made this. It's kind dorky but hey I did it by myself with only a rake. Thought you guys might like to see it.

Not bad at all, looks kind of like a rock garden.....kinda' :D. It's usually a little more fun if you have a track to drive on.

What rear tires you using on that? Step Pins or Gladiators?

I know a house for sale just down the road a bit from you with an awesome dirt back yard...no sand or rocks.

On another note...looks great. Whenever I need to test something its street or deep bouncy grass AKA tranmission killer.

Dorky or not, it's your yard to do with as you like. Not many of us get to put a track in, so enjoy it. The time to start worrying is when you start hauling in special clay soil for the track surface.

I am using original ae stock rears. They kinda have pins but they are worn. My son has paddle tires on his and even though hes got a 20T motor and I have a 17T he still kicks my butt. Im looking at gettn some trac da gators and a set of paddles for my ride.

Lucky devil. I wish I owned where I am, I'd make me a back yard track. I think the owner would get mad if I took at it with shovels and a rake :D
