I'm running a 5700 in mine too. But mines on 2s, can't imagine a 3s, it's already stupid fast

It says 3s max for the 5700. So I did. It might not be the thing to do .But I'll try it.On the CC website it's only 60 mph.LOL.

I bought the Venom 3s 5000 lipo.It fits in the tub no problem. Both ways.I bought a B2 or 3 slipper clutch.( The disk is round) to replace the original smaller slipper and the difference in performance is like night and day. With a 16-90 gearing I couldn't lift the front wheels but with the new slipper ,Wheelies are not a problem.I'm not one for the wheelie thing I just wanted to report what the new B3 slipper did. I'm changing the gearing to keep the front end down.Or maybe add some weight to the front end.

Can you post a pic of the new slipper you used?

Think it will be almost impossible to keep the front end down with that much power. Unless you don't floor it.

They are B3 parts. #9252 outer slipper,#9253 Disk, #9251 Inner slipper. #6594 Thrust bearing,, #6599 bushing3/16x1/8, #3977 bearing3/16x3/8.I used the original thrust bearing but I have the B3 thrust bearing on order.I used a 3/16x1/8 bearing instead of the bushing. Also you can use the original top shaft. You don't need the B3 shaft same part number. The original disk is 1 1/4" across,The B3 slipper is 1 1/2".Image, Image, Image,Image.Image.

Well the idler gear cleaned off half it's teeth.I built this air dam hoping to keep the front end down. And adding some lead ,It worked kind of.I went from 47.7 mph without the air dam to 51.7mph with it on.But thats only at 3/4 throttle. As soon as I go full the front end comes up.So now i'm changing pinions again.I also made a rear skid plate for the rear end.The new idler which is the steel one for the RC10GT comes in tomorrow. The upper shaft gear and the diff gear are fine, but I also ordered a new diff gear and balls and rings for spares along with 2 new original idler gears.I know the 3s battery is too much for the RC10,but right now I'm in testing mode.Just to see how much the Stealth can handle.I guess a 2s is next.Image. Jesus! That looks serious, have you had a look at the "speed run" machines people build at the Traxxas boards. (Yeah sorry I did say Traxxas ;) )

Most of them run foam tyres:

A couple of tonnes of ballast up front:

And helicopter gyros for the steering:

PS: Whatever that massive dragster that you got there is... WOW!

Hi, No I haven't checked out the Traxxas forum,But I will.I'm not into this speed thing seriously.Just playing with it.I'm more into the 1/4 scale than 1/10 scale.I get into these moods and switch back and forth between the two.I built the dragster last year. It's been so humid here that it's only been out 3 times for testing. I have no idea how fast it will go.
