Is there anywhere you can still currently get the RPM worlds arms or is it just a matter of trying to find them on eBay?

I'm thinking eBay but I have also never found them on eBay lol

the dynotech arms have been done to death for the simple fact they work. you can pull them out of the package and put them right on the car. and until rpm reissues the worlds arms (which won't happen), or someone else starts making them and undercuts chad's prices, they'll continue to be used.

now, you could try hunting for actual "klein" sprint car arms. they made them in delrin and aluminum. but don't expect to have a set of them fall in to your lap, either.

oh, there's also the andy's pro race front arms that are the same length as the worlds arms, but are even harder to find. only problem with them is they're designed for use with the andy's pro race bulkhead. you'd have to narrow up the hinge pin area on a truck bulkhead for them to fit.

i'm also waiting to hear back from another company about the center to center pin measurement of their front arms. i'm pretty sure they're the same as the worlds arms, but i want confirmation before i throw it out there.

RPM b2 carpet arms-

The Traxxas bullet arm would also not fit the truck bulkhead. They would only fit the buggy bulkhead. Miguel (m_vice?) used them on his A&L trailing arm project.

I don't believe that RPM ever made arms for the Ultima, I think that they were a little too late to be aftermarket for that car. However, the stock Ultima arms seem to me to be very similar in material composition to the RPM stuff - perhaps more rigid even. They are not hard to find either. Also there was a seller on ebay recently who had 4 sets of the RPM pro se swept arms. They may still be around, I stopped looking for that.

Yeah I saw those. The listing had ended.

What about RC10 GT2 arms? Those are 3.3" long approx. Those should fit right up, yeah?

A couple of months back I contacted Dynotech about the length of their B3 carpet arms and was told they measure 2.54" pin to pin....is that the same length as the B2 carpet arms?

To think this out some more without derailing flipwils11 B3 build thread I decided to rez this thread....

So if I wanted to make use of the B2 carpet arms (or more specifically the DT B3 carpet arms) I'd need to use a truck-width noseplate and either narrow up the arm mounts on a 10T bulkhead or find myself an Andy's Pro Race bulkhead. Also since the shock mount holes on the carpet arms seem to be further out on the arms than on the RPM Worlds arms I'm thinking I'd be better off with a front shock tower that's also like the Andy's Pro Race front tower.

That sound about right?

Just a heads up on the B2 carpet arms, the width might be close but the lower suspension holes are way further out than the Worlds 91 arms- like 3/4" per side wider-

Was hoping for that. Never particularly cared for how the front tower and shocks on a RPM World's set up crowded up the front nose of the buggy. With the carpet arms I'd also look to have a custom front tower made like the B3's tower...and for .89 or .71 shocks.

Great to see this revived....I just happed upon a set of B2 carpet arms. Remembering this (original) discussion, i grabbed them. Now to think of what to do with them (WOIN) style
