Ok, I finally got a chance to get some more work done on this machine. The diffs and driveline components weren't in the worst shape in the world so they didn't take much to clean up. I slapped the steering bellcrank, servo, and Futaba PCM rx into place as well as got the full drivetrain installed complete with Trinity/Magic purple hubs. Bulkhead covers and Jammin upper deck to be installed shortly. More pics coming soon.

More Pics! I'm just cleaning up a Speedworks 427 motor to install as well. Shocks to be built shortly and making some plans on the paint scheme.

looking real good. What's this "magic juice" you used on the chassis? I'm not quite sure what to use to get the glue from the backbone off.

I got the info from this forum, but basically I soak an old rag with Acetone and place it on the chassis - then I put the whole batch into a plastic bag and within an hour or so all of the CA glue is gone. Clean and rinse and you should be good to go. Worst case scenario you'll have to throw it back in the bag for another hour.

Good luck!

Please do! I love this car and I need encouragement to get my YZ-10 project going. In the first posted picture of this thread there was scuffing on the chassis, but in the next it was gone. Did you replace it or fix it with acetone?

WOW, that is excellent clarification on the stats of the white arms. This definitively makes me lean towards finding a set for my white and green 870c Masami schemed car.
