This takes me back the first car I built was this exact same kit. Still have the car but it needs a ton of parts to get it back together.

Excellent so far on the build thread! I wish we had more of these on here.
And I also commend you for opening the box and BUILDING the buggy! If more people would break the shrink and build what they have been staring at on the box pics, they might realize what this is all about.
Very nice body as well! Should be an awesome car when done!

agree with Brandon 100%, i think all kits should be built to fully appreciate and not just appreciating how pretty the sealed is. I have a YR-4 Compact sealed in box coming and i will document and post up pics of the build when i get the damn thing.

Thanks for your feedback ! I also thought it is about building time rather than keeping the stuff in it's boxes. If i wouldn't have some more 870C's and yz-10's i'd even run it.

BAG 0 (?): Belts
I didn't use the chassis stiffener brace on the chassis, so i assume this is Bag 0 as there is no Nr. on it.

OPTION PART: Jammin top deck & belt tensioner assembly
The belt tensioner from Bag 0 will now be assembled and fitted to the Jammin' top deck i chose as an option part. I will not use the black cable routing plate as this is only needed without a top deck e.g. to prevent saddle pack cables touching the belt.

OPTION PART cont.: Jammin top deck installation
The top deck is fitted to the gearboxes with longer screws and white spacers that go inbetween the deck and the diff covers.

BAG 12: Rear anti roll bar
This assembly step is about the rear anti roll bar which i will skip and not install. Masami didn't use one in Sydney, it will therefore be kept in the parts drawer for the time being
