From what i have heard the SG Coyote was a mix-mash of parts taken from other weird and obsolete models. Please correct me if Im wrong but even the suspension arms from the Coyote came from a different car.
As for the bodyshell, Ive always been convinced it was a copy of the AYK shell, just modified to carry the rear body posts.

I actually thought the same thing, and for the most part it is. BUT, one of them is shorter than the other. I want to say from memory the AYK is 0.5 in or so shorter.
