Funny story... I was at the races one day, I was walking through the pits, as I am walking past a guy I only kinda know, he blurts out, "do you know how to turn this thing on?". I look and he has a Nomadio Sensor in his hands, and a puzzled/frustrated look on his face. I said what, he said this radio. He had borrow a car from someone and couldn't figure out how to turn on the Sensor. At first i was thinking, really?, you don't know how to turn your radio on? So he handed it to me and said you try. I'll be damned, I could not for the life of me figure it out. I spent a good five minutes trying to figure it out. I gave up and told him good luck with it. I assume he got it working, but to this day i do not know how to turn on a Nomadio Sensor.badhoopty wrote:i have a react for my highlift since i need a 4th channel for a winch. i dont like it.justinspeed79 wrote:Did they really stop to concentrate on Military, or just because their RC venture was a total flop?
i most likely have a problem with mine since it will eat up a 2500mah tx battery in about 30 minutes. and i cant for the life of me figure out how to get it to start up with the 4th channel in the middle position of a 3way toggle, but once i hit the 4th channel it will reset itself in the neutral position. i figure its some start up throttle feature or something, but everything i try wont fix it. even went as far as getting a cheap pc laptop so i could use the software and still cant figure it out.

I never did like the Nomadio radios. I just thought they were cheap and toy-ish looking. I didn't think they would ever be popular, it seems as though I was right about them, but the bummer is, I thought the goofy-looking radio trend was going to die with Nomadio, but now every company is making goofy-looking radios. Maybe I am just old-fashioned about this, but I want my radio to look like a high-tech piece of equipment, not something manufactured by Mattel with rainbow colored buttons.
