Rothmans Livery For My Honda Cbr 1000rr
Re: Rothmans Livery For My Honda Cbr 1000rr
I know it is wrong to ask, but I am a huge bike fan and am not aware of these "kits". But, what does something like that cost? I think it is beautiful!!!

Thanks for the compliments guys. I love riding it around like a dork. I went out for a ride today as it wasn't too cold and roads were dry. This road runs along a ridge. one side faces all the bay area and this side faces the mountains and valleys that lead down to Santa Cruz. On a clear day you can see down to the ocean.

obligatory bike shot.

I eventually dropped down into a canyon and chilled by this creek.

Looks like Hwy 35...Skyline blvd? I bet it's crowded these days (judging from the pic in front of Alice's).
I miss doing hwy 9 from Saratoga to Santa Cruz...
Good looking bike, don't toss it over the side...

That's cool that you know the area temple. I took 17 up bear creek road to Skyline/35 tons of twistys between bear creek and black mountain road. Then rode down hiway 9 featured in the video above. Dropped even further down through redwood gulch and into steven creek canyon. It was fun but a bit chilly and I'm not 100% over my cold yet.

That looks like a very nice ride! I usually try to hit the Mohawk Trail in Massachusetts once a year, but could not find any time this year.
I would like to drive my bike to next years VONATS in CT, but not sure how I could carry all my R/C gear. Sport bikes don't have much storage room.

That is too sweet. I've seen race replica fairings on the bay and had been a little sceptical about quality, fit, and finish but yours looks great. Might have to do my 1000RR.

just mail them ahead then mail them home, might cost a little but the ride would be worth itsoniccj5 wrote:That looks like a very nice ride! I usually try to hit the Mohawk Trail in Massachusetts once a year, but could not find any time this year.

I got these fairings for $428 shipped to my door. The fit was pretty good on them. I only needed to clean up some plastic flashing in some of the mounting holes and slots.Doc J33P wrote:I know it is wrong to ask, but I am a huge bike fan and am not aware of these "kits". My Katana fairings were roughly $200 more. I guess it's all supply and demand.bearrickster wrote:Wow that's incredible I expected a lot more.

Great lookin' bikes you've got there Sho. Even though I'm a Suzuki man I have to admit that CBR is looking sweet
. I've got an '86 GSXR myself that could use some fairings, although I'm probably going to end up selling it.

Re: Rothmans Livery For My Honda Cbr 1000rr
The inevitable happens and a couple of months ago I took a spill on my CBR. It was the first ride on a new rear tire that was still slippery with mold release. It’s been an expensive lesson to scuff the tire before taking it out for a ride. Basically the only salvageable piece was one side and the lower.

I bought another set of body work from China. It takes forever and a day to get it and that day came last Saturday.

The day after I crashed it, the Angel Eye/HID headlight I ordered came in so I’ve been incorporating into this build. It’s been a wiring nightmare soldering connections and trying to fit all the Ballasts and igniters into such a cramped space

The tail section was very easy and I had that installed in no time at all

Here is the front end all tore apart.

Last night I was able to get the headlight installed and wired in
