I couldn't believe my luck either tbh!
They are not as bright as I thought though, not like the die-cut ones.

Feeling bored and tired tonight so I dug out my XX stuff and had a play. I fancied a change so I open the new set of natural wheels I had and fitted them up together with the neon red (pink) discs.
I also swapped out the studs for imfar pins, and used some tyre tweak to restore a little newness in them
I will try to get around to painting the Jammin shell soon, once some more Trinity stickers arrive from
lowrydesign.

I am not aware they did more than one version - do you have a pic?
I might be able to help you out with one like I have pictured.

Yes, I have both types - I still have the plate from my original XX with straight cut slots... this is used and a bit battered, it now resides in the back of my losi gearboxed Mardave Cobra. I brought a NIP polished plate for my NIB build but its the later type with the radiused machining... before I got this one I didn't realise there were the two different types either... think i'd prefer the straight version as i'm trying to build up my car to the spec of my original XX - but i'm not that fussy LOL
I brought a second motor plate for my original XX... this had the straight machined slots but was also anodised blue - which at the time was what I thought was the same as what came on the Kinwald (but now know this is a plain non-machined plate) I remember my blue plate came sealed in the Losi packaging & I had the choice of blue or red
