I think I'll wait on the battery straps until a set of standard ones present themselves

I can copy broken pieces if they are glued together properly enough to be rigid, but it will only look as good as the template.

You got it.. If you change your mind, shoot me off a PM.. I'm working on some CAD drawings for the parts in my spare time but that is going to take a while.. Hopefully by the time I am finished, I'll get me a CNC machine..

I have a set of standard (ZC119) battery bars you can borrow as a template if you like. I got them off of a parts car I recently purchased, and am using them for a '91 Works rebuild, but it will be a while before I really dig into that one (too may projects!). In the meantime, I can ship them to you to repro a few sets. PM me if interested.

2-Row Schumacher or Yokomos TF5 tires were great in grass tracks in front in 4wd class. Schumacher 3-row or Yokomo TF9 tires were used on 4wd cars on back sometimes too with these very narrow tires. The balace was good and since we run 5-min heats = runtime to finish last lap also was about 5-min 20-sec so make car light and fast was more imporant. I saw an picture from some offroad euros where 2-row Schumachers tires were also used on back in 4wd car, but that was very rainy and muddy race.

Well here she is with the new shoes, I went with the prolines mainly because I'm not a fan of ribless wheels and the Imex have no ribs. The rears are a Schumacher cut spike, fronts are a Schumacher copy I believe

Well, are they less "redunculious"?! Lol

I also dig those wheels. I just wish they made a set that didn't need to be mounted with 2 bolts each. They'd look even better without those two bolt-heads protruding...and that other forum member doing the General Lee project, these wheels would almost be perfect if dyed black...if they didn't have the bolt-heads, that is.

They are supposed to have button heads which would not look quite as bad but I'm holding out till i find the correct pan heads. They aren't thick enough to countersink....trust me I've thought about it hehe

I got some metric pan heads from mcmaster. If you want I can get you the part number. I could probably send you some too, if that's of interest.

The ones I seek have a fairly large head that is very flat (flatter than a button head!) Almost a washer head but not like traxxas where there is a step. I can't remember for the life of me where I saw them.

How about a big round sticker to cover the screw holes, then some team suzuki hubs that use a big hex nut for retention? Or, even a couple smaller stickers to cover the holes,, something decorative? Looks great! Are you going to try tbg bodyset? I think thats where Im headed for mine, unless you guys can suggest another alternative. Wonder if he would do a discounted group buy?

I already have the 870c and undertray from them, and they don't really do group buys but if you contact him outside of eBay usually you can save a bit of dough

I don't mind the screws at all, that's what makes it a Yok, I just don't want to run washers and don't want the sockets to crush the material.
