I know that buying in bulk can save you money but this is bordering on the obsessive...or maybe there's some other bug coming that's going to destroy the World starting with your butt..

Maybe she's just trying to tell you that she's putting you on an all bean diet.

That's not bad. My parents got four 110 gallon plastic storage drums/containers/whatever they are called for y2k. Three were filled with gasoline and one was filled water. Then they filled the laundry room with canned foods. Then came the whole duct tape/plastic wrap episode a couple years ago. They get crazy with that stuff.

Have you ever been to Costco? My step-dad got a pallet of duck tape. A full pallet loaded from a forklift. Took a long time to unload the truck when I got there.

We go to Costco almost weekly. Their produce is usually pretty good, and there's a few bulk items that are better to buy there than anywhere else. Costco usually has the cheapest gas too, so it's kind of a one stop shop for us. What we can't get there we usually find at Trader Joe's, and on the rare occasion have to finish up at a normal grocery.

I can't go to costco anymore. I can't leave there for less than $150. Even if I was just there earlier in the day.

Our minimum used to be $200 a pop, now it's around $100 if we're just getting necessities. If we have to restock paper products and that sort of thing, then it easily jumps over $200.

What's your address I will send you a seedling so that when you're all growed up you can have your own tree to make your own paper out of...you just need a rock. a mallet and a leather thong...you can then beat your own wood...THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:Maybe she's read your posts and figures your full of shi..........just kidding. maybe she's sending it to me...

Beating my own wood in leather thong is exactly why I keep that much toilet paper on handtizeye wrote:What's your address I will send you a seedling so that when you're all growed up you can have your own tree to make your own paper out of...you just need a rock. a mallet and a leather thong...you can then beat your own wood...THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:Maybe she's read your posts and figures your full of shi..........just kidding. maybe she's sending it to me...
the thong is purely for authenticity...
you'd look really silly dressed as you are down by the stream with your rock, mallet and tree, beating your wood...

Good stuff

We always buy that much TP, just because my wife goes through it like it's (insert smart coment here) and hates running out.
I love to use newspaper every now and then
