I just grabbed this gold optima off ebay...

think its a deal? lil cleaning up and a few parts,should be a shelfer in no time.any one got any parts that may be missing for me? like the plastic top belt cover piece? cant wait to strip this one down .its been a while since i had a new project car.i already have a celebration chassis car but i just got the itch.im thinking to sell my hot trick ultima to make funds for this restore.

Looks like you grabbed a good deal. It should clean up nicely. Please post pics of the finished product, I'd love to see the results. I'm just starting an optima project myself. Dang those original sand super tires are hard to find!

Though, beat up, this has some great parts on it. Turnbuckles, belt conversion, gold chassis and motor guard. Who knows, maybe there's a ball diff in the tranny cases!! Post some pics when you get it.
