tekin rc10

Post by scr8p »

well since it seems like the tekin chassis has become like belly buttons around here  , i figured i might as well finally get mine done. i've had it long enough now. here it is, nothing special.

a&l steering
rpm front arms and ball cups
losi rear hub carriers
composite craft front shock tower
ae team shocks
mip cvd's
trinity 2.2 wheels and tires ( temporary )

i'm gonna make some shorter nose brace tubes. it looks pretty dumb with them hanging out there like that.

thanks.

if i'da bought 2 of them last summer instead of just 1, i would have done one up to use. but since ya can't get them for $30 no more, i think this one will stay indoors.

i really have no idea how rare they are now. i bought mine last july, and went to buy another one the following month, and they were sold out. at that time, i would have said they were pretty rare. they didn't pop up on ebay very often. but when tekin found more kits stashed away, now there's at least 3-4 kits on ebay at any given time. and obviously, alot more here on the board.

in the grand scheme of things, i'm sure there isn't a ton of them out there. but there's more now than there ever was. they'd be big time rare if tekin had not got back into business, though.

I'll be running mine since i bought a few off them and my cousin will be running his aswell. I'll definately let everyone know how they handle and I'll shoot some pics/vids of it...Just cant wait for the snow to melt..
