Re: Exciting news......
IT'S TRUE!!!
Check out Tamiya USA's website, under "coming soon"- off road buggys...The new "Buggy Champ 2009" stock number is an exact match!!!
There are currently no photos on the US site, but the stock number is the same as the Japanese blog!!!!
No pricing yet,
I can't wait!!!

Re: Exciting news......
Hopefully it does not change the value of the original one, you know how some thing are made of different metal and plastic, I would really be surprised if it even has the original radio box lets wait and see.....

You bet.
How cool would it be to revive the old Mickey Thompson style stadium racing class at 1/10 scale?

Re: Exciting news......
I will be glad when they release the parts! I have been looking for the front tires for a while and they are through the roof. I bid on a NIP set that went for over a 100 bucks? I bet their going to be mad now

Re: Exciting news......
Well know I have to drum up the cash for this kit. I have to decide whats is the trade off of my nib stuff to buy this kit. My rule is when I want to buy I have to sell . Well I ll just have to decide what goes to buy this kit.

Re: Exciting news......
I have to admit I was convinced that an SRB re-release would never happen, once the plastic High Lift 3 Speed was release it seemed evident to me that Tamiya were not going to produce a predominantly metal constructed model again
, I am very please to be proven wrong, the only down side is I am now going to have to find the ££££££ to buy one
I also hope that if Tamiya have the will to re-re the SRB then maybe just maybe there will be a faithful full metal 3 Speed re-release in 2011

Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.
