Tire Choice

Post by cbracken »

Im looking to buy some tires for my gold tub, i would like a set for the street, as well as the dirt. The dirt i play in is loose gravel on hard dirt, sometimes just loose dirt, so the car is extremely squirrley, very hard to keep straight. Im new so i dont know all the tweak secrets yet. I would like to find out what tire size to buy for my buggy, and if there are any suggestions as to type for my terrain it would be greatly appreciated. The wheels on it are the factory white wheels, i just dont know what to look for.

Thanks!

i like the road hawg 2 & 3's, fronts and rears. you need 2.2/modern wheels, but that really isnt a problem.

i use them on my javelin b4 car, they work well in gravel, "baseball field clay", dirt, loose dirt etc. They arent racing tires but the car handles well in those terrains. they even work pretty nice in sand, but when it gets really loose sand i switch to paddles
