team losi micro?
team losi micro?
hey guys i was wondeing if anyone had any feed back about the team losi micro trucks they look really sweet and i think that i really want one but i was hoping some of you guys could tell me if they are worth messing with o i just want to drive i am not really looking to build a race car out of it thanks
Re: team losi micro?
They are fun but like anything can get boring. You can mod the hell out of them though. I have seen one running brushless 2s and it was basically faster than anything I have ever seen in that size.
Out of the box they are fun at work and on the floor.
I wouldn't buy one cause I know I would spend hundreds modding it. For $40 used on the bay, yup it is worth it.

I think they're the coolest r/c's made in years. I have two, the 1/36 desert truck and the baja bug. I put bearings in them, but haven't modified anything else. They're a blast to drive around the apartment. I probably wouldn't want to run them outside though, they are tiny. But, for indoors you can't get a better bang for the buck.

Re: team losi micro?
they are great little cars. amazingly durable for the small size. Like Melvinsarmy I have only added bearings to the 2 we have, no real need for any of the other hop-up parts that I can see, except for maybe a set of threaded axles, those e-clips are Tiny!
We run ours indoors, on a "track" marked out in masking tape on the basement floor.
loads o fun

Re: team losi micro?
I brought mine to work today.
I got it around Xmas, but we also got my daughter a puppy and he wants to eat it! I can't drive it at home unless I put him out. It's almost too fast in my opinion. The thing is like a mouse darting all over the place. Awesome little truck and extremely durable. I got the gun metal grey Desert. The performance out of such a small machine is amazing.
