Yea thay are. You guys are going to make me get a pan car. I wish some one made a 962 that would fit My RC500.

The jag is cool But back in the day they couldn't stay with the 962 in GTP.

I agree, cool old bods.

But just like in CanAm, where the TOJ (and something else similar, can't remember) ruled -- GTP was dominted by one and one body only (can't remember what it was called either, damn I'm getting old).

The manufacturers were seemingly always copying something current that worked in 1:1 racing, but were pigs on the track. I did a Jag once, complete with British flag livery paintjob, for a concourse competition - but it was a one and done, didn't handle close to whatever everyone else ran in GTP.

Nope, they aren't easy to find. I have a couple, but I don't want to part with them.

twiceblown, this guy http://www.historicrc.com molds some cool old school 1/8 stuff. I bought a 917 and had Gulf Porsche decals made. I'm going to put the Porsche on my RC250..... http://www.historicrc.com/RC_Car_Body_Porsche_917.htm

Those bodies from McAllister are still available, just go to: http://www.mcallisterracing.com/racing/

and check out: http://www.mcallisterracing.com/racing/page12.html

you can order direct from them, they cost about 14 bucks per body, and include window mask, but no decals. The lady is really nice and helpful. They also still offer their 1:12 Hawk and Intrepid for those that may want a vintage 1:12 body

FYI: Bolink still has the 235mm moulds for their bodies, and may make some if demand is met.

Hope this info helps out some.
