New here, just picked up a nice JRX-2!

Hey guys, this forum is great! I just picked up a nice Jrx-2 from Knucklebuster can't wait for it to get here (hopefully I didn't pay too much ).

When I was a teenager, I picked up the first Jrx-2 sold from our local hobbyshop/track and had a great time with it beating those old gold pans - made them believers quick! Man those original ones had brittle plastic as I recall (a arm breaks), and I remember a few melted diffs, but all that was soon fixed.

Looks like I'm going to need to find a body and wing (not going to be easy), and also a lower shock mount for the rear (I remember breaking a few of those back in the day!).

I may have to find a beater to run and leave this one on the shelf!

Welcome to the madness Will.

It looks like a great car. I'd restore that on and retire it. You can ealily get a runner for a decent price. Please post more pics when you get the car.

Where do you guys find parts? anywhere else besides ebay?

I know when this one comes I'll be itching to throw electronics in it and race the vintage class against the RC10s. ....must resist...

That car looks good. You also need the little rubber plug/cover for over the diff access hole
hang around a while and you can get access to the buy/sell/trade section and many members here have parts and might be able to help.

I had trouble too. I went into properties and copied the address and pasted on the top IE addr line and saw them, they then showed on the page because they were in temp storage. Not sure why they don't come up right away.

Is there a how to post pics section? Guess I need to use photobucket vs. picasa?

Photobucket is nice or you can just browse your hard drive and find the picture and open it, then upload it into the website hosts storage and they'll retain it and that way you don't have to worry about the picture disappearing when you delete from Picassa or Photobucket. By the way I've just recently started to use Photobucket, pretty neat.
