RC10T ball raced steering?
Is there such a thing available as a ball raced steering bellcrank set for the 10T?
Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

Yes.
MIP, Composite Craft, and I'm sure others make ball bearing bellcrank steering for trucks (i.e. with the longer, truck bellcranks).
Composite Craft:

MIP:

I personally don't recommend using the "truck" steering on 10Ts, though, for the reasons I explained here: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=9373&p=89812#p89812
I do however, have an NIP Composite Craft BB bellcrank steering kit available for the 10T, if you're interested.
Here's what I believe is an MIP 10T truck BB bellcrank steering kit on fleaBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/RC10-MIP-STEERING-BELLCRANK-%26-NEW-SERVO-ASSOCIATED_W0QQitemZ200318178683QQcmdZViewItem

Re: RC10T ball raced steering?
Great info thank you.
So you used the MIP RC10GT steering kit which has a shorter bell crank length making the steering less of a strain on the servo?
I am setting my 10T up as a replica runner so I need the steering to be effective.
Can purchase the MIP RC10GT steering kit from anywhere?

Re: RC10T ball raced steering?
The RC10gt kit will not work. It short like the rc10 becouse the GT is made on a 1 piece pan that is made just for it. The 10T is a RC10 pan with a long nose so the bell crank are long as well.
I have a NIP MIP kit and some RPM part # 8012 kits. So give me a PM if you would like one.

Yes, the MIP 10GT steering is short like the buggy steering, which I've found to work better than the truck steering, and you can still mount the truck nose plate in the correct position just by countersinking the front two holes on the nose plate, mounting the steering bolts there, and using really short screws on the rear two holes of the nose plate (the same screws as the one used to bolt the chassis to the rearmost hole on the nose plate).
I also run a metal gear servo, so I don't use a servo-saver, which helps improve the steering bigtime.
